Refined linseed oil is obtained by purifying flax seeds through a special process. The refining process, which follows the raw flaxseed oil obtained by cold pressing, lightens the color of the oil, lightens its odor and increases its purity. This process makes the oil safer and more practical for use in cosmetics and food.

Production: Refined linseed oil is extracted by first cold pressing the flax seeds, followed by a refining process to remove unwanted components. This process makes the oil lighter in color and allows it to be stored longer.

Color, Aroma and Fragrance: Refined linseed oil can have colors ranging from light yellow to transparent yellow. Its odor profile is quite mild and neutral, making it compatible with other natural ingredients to be used in perfumes or cosmetics. Most of the time, it can easily be used in skin care products as it does not have a pronounced odor.

Compatible Oils: Refined linseed oil is in perfect harmony with other natural oils such as argan oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil, rose oil, fig oil, ylang-ylang oil and cocoa butter. These combinations nourish, moisturize and give the skin a healthy appearance.

Warnings: Refined linseed oil can generally be used safely, but it is still recommended to test it on a small area beforehand for people at risk of allergic reactions. It should be used with caution on sensitive skin.

Storage: Refined linseed oil should be kept in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight. Proper storage of the oil preserves its effectiveness and shelf life.
